2020 Mizzou Weed Science Virtual Field Day Video 3: Evaluation of Weed Electrocution on Weeds Common to Missouri Soybean Production

Weed electrocution may be the one POST emergent option where bigger is better when it comes to weed size at application. As graduate student Haylee Schreier explains in this 3-minute video, we still have much to learn about the effectiveness of weed electrocution and its value in an integrated weed management program. Current research is focused on problematic weeds in soybean production. You will see in the video that preliminary results indicate ground speed and plant height will play a role in electrocution efficacy. The work presented here is possible because of funding by the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council.
