Fernleaf Buckthorn

This a cultivar of fernleaf buckthorn was created to produce less fruit, and to not spread as much as other varieties. Ron Williams is a medium-sized, deciduous shrub that takes on a columnar growth shape. Foliage is very narrow, which creates a fine texture in many gardens. 'Ron Williams' cultivar can grow up to 10 feet tall and makes a great hedge or screen. This non-invasive type of buckthorn is an excellent replacement for older, weedy varieties.
