Sawtooth Oak

Sawtooth oak is deciduous and native to eastern Asia. It is a fast growing tree capable to reaching a height of 60 feet at maturity. Leaves have a sawtooth edge with bristle-like teeth, which is the reason for its name. Trees have important impacts on the environment. Each adult tree generates enough oxygen for four people and provides abundant acorns to feed local wildlife. Sawtooth oak trees produce acorns every other year.
