Clematis

Clematis is native to China. These vines can grow 20 feet high and spread up to 30 feet. There are many different types of clematis, each with different colors of flowers. This garden has a variety of deep purple flowers. Clematis plants are actually known as "queen of the climbers." These plants can absorb up to two gallons of water per day when weather is exceedingly hot.
