Forsythia

Forsythia is native to China. These shrubs grow up to 9 feet tall. Bell-shaped yellow flowers cover bare branches in early spring. Flowers react to rainy weather by facing down to protect the reproductive parts. Forsythia is named after William Forsyth, a botanist and founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society.
