Bleeding Heart

Bleeding heart is native to Japan. The typical height is about 2 feet. Pink or white flowers appear heart-shaped with two white inner petals protruding near the bottom, creating the look of a bleeding heart. Flowers hang in a single-file line from the underside of branches. Seeds of this plant form in long pods.
