Dwarf Korean Lilac

Dwarf Korean lilac is native to Korea, China, and Japan. Mature height of the deciduous tree is seldom greater than 8 feet. Sweetly fragrant flowers are pale purple and borne in clusters at the ends of branches. This species, like many lilac species, is easily hollowed out to make reed pipes.
