Golden Crabapple

'Golden raindrops' crabapple is a cross between two different crabapples. Trees reach a height of about 20 feet. Used as an ornamental, these trees provide fragrant flowers, fall color, and ornamental fruit. White flowers are star-shaped with an eye-catching yellow center. Fruits are small and yellow. Leaves turn vibrant orange in the fall before shedding. This species of crabapple is often used as a rootstock for grafts of other crabapple varieties because of its resistance to disease.
