Garden Phlox

Garden phlox is native to the central and eastern United States. It is an herbaceous perennial. Plants grow in clumps or bunches with long stems up to 4 feet tall Flowers are produced in large clusters at the end of stems. Each flower has five petals that connect to a short narrow tube. Flower color may be white, red, or pink, but shades of purple are most common. Blooms give off a sweet fragrance. Summer blossoms attract wildlife like birds and butterflies to the landscape.
