Rose of Sharon

Rose of Sharon is native to China and India. Shrubs can reach heights of up to 12 feet. Flowers come in many colors and have showy pale yellow stamens in the center. Each flower only lasts one day. This plant is the national plant of South Korea. It is even mentioned in their national anthem.
