Scented Geranium

Scented geraniums are native to temperate regions of the world, specifically southern Africa. Plants grow 1 to 3 feet tall. There are over 100 varieties of scented geraniums. Some of the more popular scents available are mint, citrus, nutmeg, and chocolate. Fragrances are easily released from scented geraniums by touching the leaves. Each variety has different leaf shapes and colors, from smooth edges to deeply cut edges, from pale green leaves to dark green. Flowers appear on these versatile plants, but they are more commonly known for their aroma.
