Peppermint

Peppermint is a hybrid between watermint and spearmint. This cross is native to Europe and the Middle East. All mints have square stems. Small leaves are dark green and glossy with distinct veins running through them to add texture. Purple flowers are arranged in a spiral around the top portions of the stems. The smell, taste, and feel of peppermint are all described as a cooling sensation.
