Daylilies

Daylilies have been selected and bred by humans for specific traits, but they originated in China and Japan. Plants can grow from 1 to 2.5 feet tall. Color possibilities are endless, and structure varies across types. Some varieties produce single flowers while some are bred with double the number of petals. Daylilies are often referred to as "the perfect perennial" because of their vibrant and stunning colors, their low maintenance, and their ability to survive in a variety of different climates.
