Dusty Miller

Dusty miller is native to the Mediterranean. Plants are short with mature height less than 1.5 feet. The intricate, deeply cut leaves have a coating of dense fine hairs that make the plants look silver and create a texture similar to felt. Plants rarely flower. They are very popular in moon gardens, which are gardens that are intended to be viewed at night. The moonlight reflects off of the leaves to create a silver glow.

Dusty miller leaves are covered in dense hairs that give a soft, velvet-like appearance Dusty miller flower buds blend in with leaves and will later produce inconspicuous flowers Dusty miller plants are more commonly used in a garden for their leaves instead of their flowers
