European Beech 'Purpurea Tricolor'

Beech trees are native to central and southern Europe. The variety we have in our garden is the 'Purpurea Tricolor.' Trees reach a height of 10 to 30 feet. Leaves are marbled with different colors including shades of green, pink, and purple, which give the plant its name. Colorful leaves turn to copper in the fall, and beechnuts appear along the branches after flowering.
