Frost, Ice, and Snow

Weather sometimes works with plants to produce stunning examples of winter interest in the garden. Clear and windless nights often results in frost on plant stems and leaves. Sleet and freezing rain coats plant parts with a shimmering glow. Snow accumulates on leaves and other plant parts to turn the garden into a brilliant white.
